While my colleagues are busy being giddy and covering the lighter side of life, I thought I’d post something serious…

Luke Skywalker wasn’t an immigrant, he was an intergalactic insurgent, fighting an "Evil Empire."
That did seem like an odd choice of words, but he later half-corrected himself by using the term "migrant", which is probably what he really meant.
